The Story Behind Legacy Contracts

My respect for the legal profession began long before my first full-time role at a law firm.

While pursuing my Associate's Degree in Pre-Law, I completed a law firm internship that provided my first firsthand exposure to legal operations, client service, and the day-to-day realities of legal practice. That early experience confirmed what I already suspected: I was drawn not only to the law itself, but also to the structure, organization, and problem-solving required to support it effectively.

After earning my Associate's Degree in Pre-Law in 2015, I formally entered the legal field and began working for a debt collection law firm. Over the next 11 years, I gained more experience supporting attorneys and legal teams across multiple practice areas, including debt collection, personal injury, and complex litigation support.

These experiences exposed me to a variety of firm structures, leadership styles, and operational challenges. More importantly, they revealed a consistent pattern: regardless of practice area or firm size, many organizations struggled with the same underlying issues: unclear ownership, workflow bottlenecks, communication breakdowns, and leadership carrying responsibilities that should have been supported by systems.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in the operational side of legal practice and the role that structure plays in a firm's ability to grow sustainably.
